It means that Interlude 53 contains 53% perfume oils and therefore oils purer than alcohol, for an Amouage product.

This fragrance is a reflection on the power of time: through the six months of maturation, in the Muscat factory, Interlude 53 releases hidden facets and depths of its original formula. Where Interlude Man was colorful chaos, Interlude 53 conveys completeness and greater harmony.
